Healthcare is my tool to achieve social equity for underserved communities.

Ngu has over 20 years working globally in senior management and to develop complex healthcare projects.

Ngu was most recently the President and CEO of KeraLink International, a US 501(c)(3) public charity and non-profit with a mission to develop impactful solutions for corneal disease and blindness that make treatments affordable and accessible to all.

Ngu is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Yako Medical Africa Ltd, a healthcare technology solutions platform and social enterprise, operating through an Integrated Care Ecosystem.

The mission of Yako is to deliver affordable access to quality healthcare to all people. Yako operates in Nigeria and Cameroon with collaborating partners across Sub-Sahara Africa, India and Southeast Asia.

Prior to founding Yako Medical, Ngu served as the General Manager and Project Development Leader in GE Healthcare for West and Central Africa from 2013 to 2016 where he was the primary interface for GE Hospital and Healthcare Solutions projects with public and private sector clients.

His responsibility was to be a market maker for GE Healthcare to develop projects from inception to close and hand-over.

Focus included specialty hospitals (Oncology, Cardiology, Surgery, Mother and Child), advanced diagnostic centers, optimization of existing healthcare facilities and systems, rural healthcare programs, education centers and programs, advisory services and Public Private Partnerships (PPP).

Ngu was founder and Managing Director at SaiTek Solutions Inc., an industrial Project Finance and Development Advisory company from 2009 to 2013 where he worked on social infrastructure projects, enabling partnerships between US technology companies and African governments and private sector.

Key instruments used were structured finance and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) that leveraged financing from development finance institutions to achieve social and economic impact in Africa.

Ngu joined AlphaDev LLC (now Fannin Innovation Studios), an early-stage life science technology development company in Houston, Texas, where he was the first healthcare entrepreneur fellow and later served as VP Business Development from 2005 to 2009.

During a 4-year period, AlphaDev licensed and developed a portfolio of over 20 early-stage medical technology solutions from leading institutions and trained a pool of over 12 entrepreneur fellows for careers in healthcare technology development and commercial leadership.

Prior to AlphaDev, Ngu worked in sales and marketing with Pfizer Inc. for 7 years. Ngu also served a 4-year tour of service in the US military, Navy branch.
